Most pet owners think that their pets will love them no matter what. They think this because they love their pets. The truth is that pets need love, time, and attention as well. Not only do they require a lot of care, but they also pull tricks like peeing on your carpet, grabbing food from your kitchen counters, and puking on the couch. This is of no concern though. Even through all of this, you still love them. It’s too bad that many of us treat our pets better than our spouses.

When you come home of a long day at work, your pet will probably meet you at the door, all excited to see you. You’ll likely show your pet some affection even if you had a horrible day. You’ll be happy to let your pet sit in your lap if it wants. Do you greet your spouse the same way that you do your pet? Was your spouse glad you were home, or did they basically ignore your arrival? It really is too bad that most people don’t put as much effort toward their marriage as they do their pets

You’ll find that you’ll often be upset about something that your pet has done. You should know that your pet won’t understand you even if you curse him out. You’ll probably forgive his actions in a few minutes anyway. Most people are much less forgiving when their spouse does something to upset them. One can easily see why so many marriages end in divorce, we don’t treat our partners as well as we do our pets.

You should apply the lessons you learn from your pet to your marriage. Accept the fact that your spouse is going to do something to annoy you every so often, just like your pet does, and try not to issue the abusive words that are going to put a deeper chasm between the two of you. Words, once spoken, can be forgiven but seldom forgotten. You should work on treating your spouse the same way that you treat your pet.No.Skdgske4gk-ds
